HD HomeRun Dual HDHR3-DT support

I have one of these too…

It’s nice to know that I am not the only one with this issue. The HDHR3-DT seems to be a popular tuner. Please add support if possible. The new tuners are expensive and very hard to find in stock.

There is no real difference between the HDHR3 and HDHR4 why would i want to get a new model.
Is there away to have HDHR3 an accepted Beta testing device for testing.

I just signed up for Plex Pass specifically for the DVR function, but I have the HDHR3. I quickly set the account to not renew since I can’t use the tuner I have. If they support the HDHR3 I will purchase a lifetime Plex Pass just for that functionality!

We have the HDHR3-US as a 2nd, so our Plex is only seeing the one EXTEND. I agree support for this one too.

I purchased a Plex Pass specifically for the DVR functionality and I have 3 HD Homerun hdhr3-dt tuners which currently work just fine in MythTV and TV Headend. I am especially upset as the website shows support for “SiliconDust HDHomeRun (all models)”.

Supporting these older tuners would seem to keep quite a few people happy.

They are supported. This is an old thread.

Thanks for the reply Dean,

When I try to search for my tuners, which are currently working on the network, I get the constant spinning circle while my server is “Looking for compatible devices on your network…”

I am running Plex Media Server on FreeNAS as a plugin

1.5.5.3634-995f1dead
Plex Media Server
PC
FreeBSD 11.0-STABLE (FreeBSD 11.0-STABLE #0 r313908+b3722b04944(freenas/11.0-stable): Sat Jul 1 02:44:49 UTC 2017 root@gauntlet:/freenas-11-releng/freenas/_BE/objs/freenas-11-releng/freenas/_BE/os/sys/FreeNAS.amd64)

Should they appear when I search for them or do I need to find their IP address and point the backend to them?

I didn’t realise that the plugin was so far behind the current release. I have updated to 1.7.6.4058-8fa494d15 and it now can see my tuners.

Thanks for letting me know they are indeed supported.
