Is there any chance to get support for the HDHomeRun Dual (HDHR3-US)?
I also am looking for HDHR3-US support. I installed the new beta version of plex DVR today and was disappointed to find I couldn’t connect to my already setup HDHR3 to test it out…
Ditto! Was super pumped this was something Plex is working on adding to their already AWESOME software. I was bummed yesterday evening when it wouldn’t recognize my HDHR3-US. On top of that I can’t even seem to buy the HDHR4 online anywhere…it’s back ordered and out of stock 
I am in the same boat. I was very excited to have everything inside of PLEX and also stream it. The EyeTV software I currently use is OK, but PLEX is so much better. I am hoping they can add it later.
Does anyone know why we can’t find any of the newer units?
As I understand it, the DVR support requires an HDHomeRun API that is only found on the newer models. I have an HDHR3-US as well, but have ordered a new model (I chose the EXTEND) for this purpose.
Another request for the HDHomeRun Dual (HDHR3-US). Not saying plex will, but the Channels app for apple tv 4 was able to get backwards compatibility for this device along with the newer models.
another request for the HDHR3-US, especially given that the Connect has been out of stock since forever!
+1 to HDHR3-US support (or a notice that it’s just not possible because of technical reasons… so I can plan accordingly). #stillPumped
I would like support for the HDHR3-US tuner as well.
I’m in the same boat, have 2 HDHR3-US installed already for use with the Channels app on aTV4, hate to have to repurchase new ones again just to gain the ability to record.

I am also interested in support for the older HD Homerun.
This would be a huge plus. I already have a few of these devices around and would love to get myself and my family up and running without having to purchase additional hardware. HDHR3-US support would be awesome, or let me know definitely if you will ever support this device. As it stands, I am willing to wait but eventually I will need to purchase the new device.
I would love for support to be extended to the HDHomerun Dual (along with other tuners) myself… It may happen eventually, but in the meantime I’ve taken advantage of the offer noted in the Plex DVR support pages:

Since it’s noted as a “possible discount” I won’t quote the prices I received here, but I have ordered and paid for a discounted HDHomerun Extend direct from SD.
Yeah, WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP THAT WAS, WORST HD Tuner I ever Purchased, NEVER Once did it hold stream for more than a minute or so before pixalating a channel or dropping out completely , along with being extremely basic compared to its America cousin release. Total RUBBISH product.

For the DVR Service to work you need HD HomeRun EXTEND that streams to DLNA compatible devices on your network. The only older model that I know of that will work is the HDTC -2 US. I am using this one with my Synology DS415.
