HDHomeRun + Plex unable to record more than a short period of any show

The combo HDHR and Plex work great for watching live TV but when I try and record any station, Plex only seems to get a very small part of the show - anywhere from a few seconds to 15ish minutes but never the entire show.

I have confirmed with the HDHR people that my antenna+HDHR setup is fine, they looked at my logs and said I have nice strong signals.

I was recording the news onto a NAS but was told that may be the problem so I changed it so the news now (tries) records to the Windows 11 computer’s internal SSD. I have confirmed it is not a space issue on the SSD, there is over 1TB free space.

I do not have the remove commercials option enabled.

I am able to watch live TV with no problem, either through the Plex or the HDHR’s app, it is only when I record stuff that there is an issue.

Well, I don’t know what the problem WAS for anyone else having this problem but my solution was to completely dump and rebuild my Plex server and then the Live TV started working correctly. There must have been a legacy setting somewhere I couldn’t find that was causing the issue. Now live TV is recording just fine.

completely rebuilt PLEX server on new OS, new install of Silicon dust to DVR. Only recorded for 5 minutes. Very disappointing
