Short version, Plex starts recording, records for about 46 seconds, and that’s all it records. So far:
- Verfied permissions on storage.
- Set custom Transcorder temp directory and verified permissions.
- Removed tuner and readded.
- Tried different settings on the tuner’s built-in transcoder.
- Disabled commercial detection.
So far no luck, just the same results where the DVR records for less than a minute then stops and that’s what’s added to the Plex library.
For a sanity check, I have the HDHomeRun application on my Windows laptop, tuned into NBC and everything coming from the tuner is looking great. No video drops. Looking at the HDHomeRun:
