I’m running Rasplex 1.6.2 on a Pi3 connected to a Samsung J6200 TV.
HDMI-CEC was working perfectly well a couple of weeks ago, before I went on vacation, and it now no longer is. The only thing I’ve done is to replace my Wifi router (Pi Rasplex connected over LAN, TV over Wifi). It is not impossible the TV firmware updated itself recently, but I don’t know what version was running before.
Basically, if Rasplex boots while the TV is on, then everything works fine. If I switch the TV on when Rasplex is running, then there is no response from the TV’s remote. I can go to the AnyNet+ menu and reconnect Rasplex (which is correctly found) and connect manually, and then everything works until the next time I power cycle the TV…
I do not use CEC to switch Rasplex off; it always runs.
I haven’t changed anything in Rasplex settings. At some point in the past I did save the EDID configuration and that is being loaded (there were some issues with sound). Could something have changed here in a way to affect HDMI-CEC?
Any suggestions as to what I can try to do v. appreciated.
