Greetings all! Not too AV savvy but helping the boss figure out an HDMI over IP setup for his restaurant. He wants to be able to stream PLEX content from his computer onto all the TVs he has around his place. Been looking at different options online https://bzbexpress.com/Video-Over-IP/ and on ebay and amazon. Now, is hdmi over ip the best option or can we just go with a regular hdmi extender? I know hdmi over ip uses our internet to connect everything but it also seems very pricey. Thanks for any help!
The items listed in this listing look like they would do the trick for you. However, you must note that these devices are extending your HDMI over CAT5 ethernet cable. They would not connect into your internet in any way. They are just using the CAT5 cable as a point-to-point connection between transmitter and receiver.
