Help - Cant claim server after router change

My Plex media server was running perfectly on my Synology DS918+, then i changed routers after having NBN Fibre connected.

With the new router, the IP address ranges changed. I can access my NAS, install/uninstall PMS, access shares. But at first no other device could see my PMS, they can now but I cannot claim the server. My account says “This server is unclaimed and not secure” all devices are on the same LAN either hardwired of wifi.

I have tried the following.

  • Uninstall/Reinstall PMS (latest version)
  • Sign out of everywhere and remove all authorized devices
  • I have tried the claimpms.exe utility which failed
  • Tried all of above from different computers

I have a feeling this is DNS related after the router change but am unsure.

My issue is resolved and I can now claim my server and access my PMS.
I have Synology DNS Server running on my DS918+ I added the two google addresses to forwarder 1 and forwarder 2 under the resolution settings.
