Anyone else having trouble logging in? Have tried the password reset link and the email never arrives. It’s almost like my account was hacked but I never gave my password out. Can someone contact me please to help reset the password?

Checked SPAM and also turned off SPAM filter temporarily just in case. It’s like my account has been nuked. I can’t log in or reset. Hoping someone from plex will see this and get in touch with me and let me know what is going on.
Since you’re here in the forums, you still have your plex account. Plex uses a SSO (Single-Sign-On) mechanism common to many sites.
I’ll reach out and see if someone can PM you in pvt. I will tell you now, there will be a challenge-authentication step at some point since this is a Plex Pass account

You can’t sign in to that account on the main Plex site or in Plex apps (nor receive password resets) because you (or someone with access to your account and password, at least) deleted the account. Once deleted, you obviously won’t be able to access the account and we won’t send a password reset because it would be useless. The forum is a separate system - you would no longer be able to authenticate new access, but an existing forum session would continue to work until the authentication expired.
I’ve been able to restore the account for you this time. Please exercise caution in the future, as we aren’t always able to restore deleted accounts.
On the assumption that you didn’t delete the account yourself intentionally, that would suggest that someone else does, indeed, have access to your account and password. So, I would strongly encourage you to:
- First, change the password on your email account to a strong, new password not used anywhere else.
- Sign in to your Plex account and go to the https://plex.tv/users/edit page.
- Change your password there (to something strong, new, and - again - not used anywhere else) and make sure that you check the
Sign out connected devices when setting your new password
box when specifying the new password.
I am thankful for your help beyond words. You are right, the only explanation is I was careless with my password somehow or there is a keylogger on my machine. I’ve done the above steps and also running a security scan. Again, thank you Chris and thank you ChuckPa. I set new passwords for my email and plex which are both unique to each other and not used anywhere else.
Hi! I’m having the same problem as of today. I don’t even have an option to reset my password. It just says that my server is unavailable (on the main computer I have it on). I’m usually careful with my passwords, but it only takes one slip-up, I guess. Can you please help me, too? Thank you!
Actually, I just redownloaded it, and while I haven’t done anything to the modem, and it now says it cannot log in due to multiple IP failures.

Looking at your account, I see that you’ve successfully changed your password as well as signed in on the website. So, looks like you should be all set.
