Server Version#: Not sure.
All I see is Version 4.66.1. As of 12/16/2021, I am up-to-date for the server.
I know there are naming conventions that need to be followed but all of a sudden I cannot get my show to show up when I scan the library.
I have upgraded to the Plex TV Series Agent. I am trying to add the second season of Dr. Stone which is named Dr. Stone - Stone Wars.
It simply refuses to show up. I’ve never really had issues before as long as I name the episodes in the sxey format where x is season number and y is episode number. Ex: s01e02
I just want to be able watch my show. Is there a way to ask Plex to ignore all naming conventions for a certain directory and simply allow me to access the videos? If not, then I express my dissatisfaction in not having that freedom and humbly request someone to help me fix my problem. Thank you.
it is season 2 of Dr Stone. Not a separate show. Stone Wars is the season title. Don’t put it in a separate folder

Additionally, given your folder structure, the TV library must point at Anime, not at Shows.
/Anime <-- Folder added to library
..Dr. Stone
..../Season 01
....../Dr. Stone - s01e01.ext
..../Season 02 <-- "Season 02" not "Stone Wars"
....../Dr. Stone - s02e01.ext
Plex will use the season name if the library is configured to do so. Edit the library , choose Advanced, check the box to Use Season Titles.
Use an Other Videos library. See Personal Media Files section of Your Media (linked above).

Still no dice. Here is how it is laid out now. Library is pointing to Anime.
Inside Dr. Stone, there are two directories, Season 01 and Season 02.
I’ve tried scanning library with and without Use Season Titles checked and season 2 still will not show up. Am I missing something here?

After changing your directory structure (or file names) you may need to perform the Plex Dance to force the content to be re-detected. Chances are those episodes are currently matched as duplicates of other episodes.
1. Move all files for the media item out of the directory your Library is looking at, so Plex will not “see” it anymore.
Media item in this case would be Dr. Stone directory, not the whole Anime directory?

Correct. You may actually only need to move out your ‘Season 02’ directory. If that doesn’t work then try the entire ‘Dr. Stone’ directory.
Yes that finally works. Thank you. Looks like there is an issue with Scanning that Plex needs to work out.
