HELP! Lost connection to my server and libraries after switching from Facebook to Google sign-in

I recently received an email from Plex informing me that “Signing in with Facebook is going away,” and it included instructions on how to switch to either Google or Apple sign-in. I followed the instructions to switch to Google sign-in, and the process appeared to be successful.

However, after completing the switch, I noticed that I no longer have access to my Plex library that was hosted on my Synology NAS. This is a significant issue for me, as I have thousands of films and multiple libraries set up on my NAS, and now they are no longer accessible through Plex.

I would appreciate your assistance in restoring access to my NAS server and libraries. Here are a few details about my setup:

  • **Mac Os Squoia 15.0.1
  • NAS model: Synology DS920+
  • Plex Server version: actual
  • Current sign-in method: Google
  • Issue encountered: Lost connection to my server and libraries after switching from Facebook to Google sign-in.

If you could provide instructions or troubleshooting steps to restore the connection to my server and recover my libraries, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for the help! Everything worked perfectly! Your advice saved me a lot of time and stress, and I would have never been able to solve this on my own. I really appreciate the support!
