Help needed! PMS crashing nightly - TVS-672N w/ 32GB of RAM runs out of memory

Plex Media Server on my new QNAP TVS-672N is crashing every night, presumably while doing maintenance tasks. I have disabled the DLNA server so it’s not that. My server has 32GB on RAM installed so I don’t have a low amount of physical RAM either.

I’ve attached my logs and a picture of the messages QTS displays when the crash occurs. Please help! Thanks in advance…

Would you please look at the actual system log? It usually contains more.

As a test, would you consider turning off some of the maintenance tasks (the scanner being one) and see what impact, if any, that has?

I ask because your logs are showing basic refreshing. I cannot understand how that would cause this type problem in isolation of everyone else.

Hey there,
Same issue, but occurs randomly - 1 full scan the night , not Including music libraries in automatic updates

TVS-672N - 32G RAM
Plex 1.19.5.3112
QTS 4.4.3.1400

thinking first something related to HDHomeRun DVR - BUT, not so sure actually
No DNLA enable.

An update from my end…I removed all of my music libraries (I use Roon for those anyway so Plex was redundant) and kept my maintenance settings as shown and my crashes have ceased. I know this work around might not help everyone but it’s satisfactory for me.
