i added some new media to my library the other day and when I click on it it gives me an error saying (playback error There was an unexpected error during playback. Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems)
it only seems to be the new files that I added, they play on my mobile but not on pmp or firefox/chrome
- analyze the new files https://support.plex.tv/articles/200289336-analyze-media/
- please deliver the PMP log after a playback attempt https://support.plex.tv/articles/207338748-plex-media-player-logs/

Is UNO preview enabled?

Ah, I see.
Does the same error occur when you access these items in the web app? app.plex.tv
Have you optimized your plex database after adding these items?
https://support.plex.tv/articles/200392106-library-actions/
yes i have the same issue using the web app
and yes i have optimized the database
they seem to work fine in tv-mode and on my tablet
Try this:
check your Plex database for corruption
- activate debug logging (not ‘verbose’!)
- quit Plex Server
- wait 1 minute
- start Plex Server
- wait 5 minutes
- fetch log files and attach them here
Or inspect them yourself. Take a look at the Plex Media Server.log
file and seek for messages about database corrupt
or malformed
.
If you find these, you may have to repair your database.

Dance
Plex Dance the affected items
here are the logsPlex Media Server Logs_2019-06-16_22-22-18.zip (3.7 MB)
There are no signs of database corruption in your logs. (Good!)
Please continue with the rest of the steps.
didn’t work
it didn’t work, i also tried re downloading the files and i still have the issue
i reset the server completely and i still have the same problem with these files not sure why
figured out that its a problem with the latest version of pmp i downgraded pmp and now its all good
I am having the same issue,
what do you mean by PMP?
Plex Media Players? if so i dont understand how this fixes the web client, if PMP refers to something else please elaborate.
Not joking or lieing. before posting this i spend about 4 hours trying to fix this (3 hours last night 1 this morning) only real thing i did was the plex dance last night, and resting the systems. and this morning all i did was setting the logs to record.
after trying to understand what was in this thread for about 30 mins and then making my post, i checked the file again.
It worked with no issues, I dont know what fixed it, but i am thanking both of you regard less.
