Hello community. This stuff is totally new to me, sorry for having to ask. I added a HDHomeRun Flex 4 to my network. Trying now to setup Plex Media Server for the first time. The Plex app says “Your server is signed in to Plex, but is not reachable from outside your network”. I tried to resolve but still having this message. I did enable UPnP on the router but it did not resolve the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also I have what seems like such a basic question. I struggle to open the “Plex Media Server” from my computer. It’s icon is located in my hidden tray. When I click on it, it opens what I think is the Plex app. When I click on “Plex” on my task bar it also opens the Plex app. At one point the server did seem to open up and I added a library to my PC with the 5 major media types (movies, tv shows…) but after that I can seem to get to the Server. Thanks

Add a manual rule in your router to point to your windows computer, you also might have to make sure firewall exception are in, windows 11 sure as heck doesn’t like having stuff hosted on random ports.

I was able to get a manual rule to work. When I click on “Plex media server” is that suppose to open a different program or after initial setup is it part of the Plex web app? Thanks

My web app simply says “open Plex”
