Hi, I’m very new to Plex (started today) so bear with me if I’m being daft 
I want to make the music on my PC available on my iPhone (about 25,000 tracks)
I’ve set it up and the tracks are starting to appear on my iPhone and work with is great
But… after being connected for a short while, the remote access option on the windows server setup says “Not available outside your network” yet the option under it is to disable rather than enable.
What should I do?

The automatic “make my server accessible on the internet” feature needs UPnP enabled on your router. Try googling your router model and “enable upnp” to try and get it enabled. Otherwise you’ll need to check the box for “manually specify a port” in the Plex settings, specify a port and then do port forwarding in your router to forward the port you chose to your server’s IP and port 32400. Again google your routers model number and port forwarding for help on that. Hope this helps!
Hi, I should have mentioned uPnP is enabled on my router.
I tried manual port forwarding per the instructions and it initially worked, for about ten minutes, and then died again
