Help! Shared Libraries with CyberGhost84 Theme Doesn't work. Why?

I have OpenPlex set up and everything works great except when I try to view the "Shared Libraries" section with the CyberGhost84 Theme installed...  It just continues to say "Accessing Trailers".

When I check the log for OpenPlex, it displays these 2 lines approximately 50 times as I have approximately 50 Shared Libraries I am connected to with other users.

13:25:48 PlexAPI: No Response from Plex Media Server

13:25:48 PlexAPI: We failed to reach a server. Reason: Unauthorized

If I use the default theme, or another theme, the Shared Library works.  It also works when I access it from my mac.  So I think its something in the Theme perhaps?

Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Stange I use about 20+ shared and owned libraries with his theme. I also only use the all libraries option so maybe this is why.

wahlman.j: Does it work for you if you turn off All Libraries and go into Shared Libraries instead?  If it does, then I can't imagine what it could be on my end.  Please let me know what happens if you have a quick minute to check and see.

Step one would be to start from scratch using fresh settings, fresh git clone etc. I can't check currently, I can let you know later on if someone doesn't beat me to it. A few commits ago it did work tho, not sure on the current commit (version).

I did uninstall OpenPlex and reinstall it, as well as reinstalled CLT and PIL.  There are no updates for PlexConnect in OpenPlex.  And PMS is up to date.  Is there something else I should update, like to a dev version or something. When you say fresh git clone, is that performed by pressing the update button in OpenPlex (the Arrow Icon)? If not, how is that done to get the latest commit?

If you pick install theme and then click update and it says no plexconnect updates are available then you are running the latest version of his theme. The update button (up arrow) in the settings tab. Also the shared tab works by the way using his latest commit. The current head (commit) is layout improvements.

Yep I am on the latest Head commit.  I am not sure what the problem can be.  I can view shared libraries from the iOS app and my Mac, but not on my AppleTV (but only with the CyberGhost84 theme)  With the other themes, shared libraries work.  Strange.  I really want to get it working.  Kinda lost at this point.

I switched to ALL LIBRARIES and it still says multiple times:

I had a problem with a shared library showing the other day with cyberghosts theme, try unchecking on deck and recently added in the themes settings.

Thanks. This worked, however it removed On Deck and Recently added from the main My Library screen as well.  I tried unchecking just On Deck and keeping Recently Added checked.  That also worked, but not the other way around so it seems to be a problem related to On Deck.  All Libraries also works now that On Deck is unchecked in the Section Options|Library Options, but I don't like that setting on because it takes a while to loan all 50 libraries.  At least its a workaround for now until the issue is resolved.  I just don't have an On Deck on the main screen.  If I go into TV or Movies though, it is still shown there at least.

Funny though, the log still shows these errors even with On Deck unchecked, but it still works.  I am so confused. lol

Sounds exactly like the problem I thought I had, it’s not cyberghosts theme that’s the problem, what you will find is one or more of your shared libraries hasn’t got an ondeck created (maybe you haven’t watched anything from that server yet)

So cyberghosts theme will keep searching for an ondeck for that particular server which is why it’s always stalling and not loading any libraries- it’s just constantly looking for an ondeck that doesn’t exist yet !

You should check your shared libraries and find out which one is missing an ondeck and watch something from it to create one.

I think its plexhome that broke it, im still trying to debug the issue. If you comment out this line (231) in PlexApi.py and delete PlexAPI.pyc and restart plexconnect it seems to resolve the issue. Only downfall is it breaks plexhome but I personally don't use it anyways:

# declarePMS(ATV_udid, 'plex.tv', 'plex.tv', 'https', 'plex.tv', '443')

Im having issues with All libraries using the latest commit and this seems to resolve it for now. Im not sure if its due to having a remotely owned shared library or what but if I figure it out I will let you know. Also recently added and on deck still works by commenting out this line.

I tried this and enabled on deck and recently added but it didn't work for me: "If you comment out this line (231) in PlexApi.py and delete PlexAPI.pyc and restart plexconnect"

It produces the same errors in the log file as I originally posted.  So, I changed it back.

Funny thing I noticed is I still get the errors even when I change it back, but the shared libraries show.  Its only when I have on deck checked.

There are over 50 servers and they load slow on AppleTV every time I go back a screen and between servers.  This method would take forever.  Are we even sure if this is the reason?  I don't see why though, cuz the servers show up on my computer and on the ios app.  Hmmm.

Wow, that's a lot of servers !
Maybe you could check the servers from your computer if that would be quicker, same thing for me that the iOS app and computer would load the servers but Plexconnect wouldnt, but for a workaround checking that there was an ondeck created for each server was what fixed it for me, I only use 4 servers though !!!!

Can you try this prior version as a test and see if you have the issue:

Download ZIP version commit 54c2e1a

I got Plex set up using Falco953's theme and everything works perfect (except for ondeck and recently added not showing art and all recently added shows/movies on the main screen, so I unchecked it)  Also, the Shared Libraries load pretty fast with this theme.  Other than that its fine, so I am kinda hesitant to switch themes at the moment since what I have now is acceptable.  However, if there is a new feature or updated theme that I like, I will test this out prior to updating to that theme.
