Hi Guys my name is les and JUST SIGNED UP TO A PLEX PASS MONTH FEEL STUPID NOW BECAUSE I CANT GET IT TO WORK WHEN I LOAD PLEX IT JUST SAY SEARCHING FOR SERVERS ABD THATS IT PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN YES I HAVE DOWNLOADED A SERVER TOO THANKS LES
Nobody can help unless you give more details of your setup like:
Network configuration
What operating system your server is running on
How is your server connected to the network
What client you are using
What is the exact error you are receiving
Server logs could be helpful
The people that can help may need other info but that is a start.
Plex helps those that help themselves.

Hi thanks for getting back I am on windows 10 and when I load plex it ust say looking for server bit never finds one my network is bt infinity 5 sorry for the cap I thought this plex setup was all very easy and automatic to use guess not might cancel the sub if I cant figure this out cheers les
how are you trying to access Plex?
- directly on the machine it is installed via https://127.0.0.1:32400/web
- using the local IP address… https://your-pms-ip-address:32400/web
- using the online version of Plex Web… https://app.plex.tv/desktop
- through a client?
if none of those work… can you check if the server is really running? In Windows, you should be able to see a Plex icon in the task bar.
during installation… did you get to the point where Plex asked you to name your server and setup your libraries?
