I’m confused. I installed the plex server and I see it running in my task manager. I’m a noob when it comes to network settings, is there a step by step troubleshooting guide? I tried the steps here: https://support.plex.tv/articles/204604227-why-can-t-the-plex-app-find-or-connect-to-my-plex-media-server/ but it’s still not coming up
not sure how to:
Disable any VPN on your computer or router
Disable any proxies being used on your computer or router

nvr mind, it was a login conflict. Had to delete some old registry entries at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Plex, Inc.\Plex Media Server
