Windows 10. Plex has been unable to find my server even after multiple fresh installs. I have completely erased every file related to plex off my laptop, and reinstalled Plex server but it is still unable to find my server. Also, in my “hidden icons” in my taskbar were Plex has an icon, it used to have a green checkmark and say “running”. It no longer does this. If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated. Thank you!
Yes I have this same issue. I have had my plex server running for about a year now. Today it abruptly went offline. I went to look for it and it cannot be found by my media player. I check the task manager and it says the PMS is online, however nothing. I even went to the http:/localhost:32400/web and the 127.0.0.1 loop back IP. its as if the server isn’t even online. Its on the same windows 10 PC box as well. I have uninstalled everything related to plex, cleaned the registry and reinstalled and the same result. I have a friend that shares his plex server with me and I can see his library just fine. I currently have his library disabled so I can troubleshoot mine locally. Any help forward on this would be appreciated.
Same issue here. I have synlogy server running. http:/localhost:32400/web and plex.tv don’t see the server. But the app on my tv can connect to server and works like normal…
