On my local network… (haven’t tested cell)
With HEVC transcoding turned on, I get sound on live cable channels, but not video, for any channel.
With HEVC turned off, video and sound work for all live channels.
Is this a bug in the new Plex iOS app, or my problem?
I can concur I had this same issue, with HEVC enabled. Disabling it solved the issue with Iphone 16 ios 18.4.1 getting audio but no video on Live-TV playback.
Same! Thank you for posting this. I was not getting live TV video but didn’t know I could turn off HEVC to fix it. It seems to only affect my iOS devices. Live TV will work on android and Windows devices.
Same problem here! Whether it’s transcoding or direct play, I’m using Xteve as a source, so it’s not limited to HDHomeRun. Local or remote doesn’t matter. Only getting audio
How and where do you turn this off?
