When I select live tv from the iOS mobile plex app the video comes up without sound. If I select a recorded program from the dvr then I am able to hear sound from a recorded broadcast. Is there a fix?

Mine is opposite, I get audio but no video when selecting live tv in the iOS app. Someone said of you disable HEVC on your server it may fix it, if you need a fix,
My Live TV doesnt even load. My lice tv and tuner are now hidden and despite having my Live TV guide selected i can only see plex channels. I cannnot access any of my live TV at all.
Have the same issue, no sound on live TV. I have tried every combination of HEVC, direct stream, on and off. Transcode on and off. Nothing, Also noticed that SD channels sometimes totally fail to load.
I have the same issue but haven’t been able to figure it out.
It’s worth noting this is also happening in the betas as well. It does seem that nobody at Plex is the slightest bit interested in this issue. I’m not sure if it’s only impacting a few people or what but it’s a bloody nightmare. Has made the Live TV pointless.
Also having no audio on live TV via iOS app. It happened with update to iOS 18. Resolved with a server update and now happening again with update to iOS 18.5.
It feels like this is being completely ignored! Just as a matter of interest, what are you running your server on @WSNP ?
Same here. LiveTV continues to be an absolute embarrassment.
Same issue when transcoding with OPUS!
Just updated the iPad app.
Still live tv is unusable.
No sound.
Hit or miss whether programs load.
Very sluggish.
