When streaming live TV, if transcoding the stream (either hardware or software), the new ios app is not playing the opus audio. Direct play without transcoded audio plays fine. Transcoded live tv with opus audio plays fine to desktop windows app.
Similar here although I get no audio with or without direct play. This new app is abysmal in so many ways. 
When this issue will be solved?
Came here looking for info… same problem on iOS. No sound in live tv. Not a great rollout of an update. No DVR settings access either. Boo.
I also have no audio on live TV playback via IOS app, I had no playback at all until i disabled “Allow direct stream”
I think Plex need to admit defeat and roll back to the previous app, the new app is nowhere near ready and is making them look really incompetent.
We’ve gone from a polished app where everything works, to an app that hardly works, is barely finished and is being tested “in the field” instead of under controlled conditions,
Please Plex, just give us the old app back.
