Hello, I am new to plex and like it a lot. However, my library is crowded with folders that I don’t need or don’t want to see in the UI. For instance on the main page of the library I see “All Movies” “By Collection” “By Content Rating” “By Country” “By Decade” “By Director” “By Edition” “By First Letter” “By Folder” “By Genre” “By Rating” “By Resoltuion” “By Starring Actor” “By Year” “Continue Watching” “Recently Added” “Recently Released” “Recently Viewed” “Unwatched”.
I don’t want to have all of them, but I was not able to find anything in the setting to hide them. Where can I find this option or is it not possible?
My library also shows “Pictures” while I don’t have added any picture folder and don’t need it. Same question: How can I completely remove pictures from my library?
Appreciate your help
It sounds as if you are not even accessing your library with a genuine Plex client, but only a generic DLNA-compatible player. The DLNA side cannot be customized, it is what it is.
