Hide HUD with android remote

Hi there,

 

I can't seem to find the possibility to hide the on screen hud (to change subtitles e.g.) with my android remote.

 

Isn't this possible?

Do you mean that the 'paused' menu stays on-screen during active playback ?

If so, which version of RasPlex are you using ?

Some recent versions did have such a problem.

But those problems should not remain in the latest RasPlex release 0.4.0-rc4

(release candidate 4 of the upcoming stable version 0.4.0)

I just tested it myself launching a show episode on RasPlex from my 'HTC One X' phone.

The HUD only appeared when I paused playback, and disappeared each time I 'unpaused' again.

NB: This was done using the current version of the official "Plex for Android" client on the phone.

If you have problems with some other remote control app, those problems may be specific for that software.

I'm using RasPlex 0.4.0-rc4 and the latest version of android.

But yeah, I mean exactly the phenomenon you're describing.

I'm doing some additional tests later tonight and keep you posted.

I don't know what to say, it's working now.. I reinstalled the android app and it worked out of the box..
