I changed both my advanced settings:
Allow insecure Connections = Never
Prefer Insecure Connections = Never
So far I have artwork and my content is playing,
though I haven’t tried anything higher res than 720 at this time…

Same issue here on VIDAA app.. all other apps show the pictures, the only one that sows nothing is the Vida app
Hi, Having the same issue.
Only seems to affect media on local plex server tho.
Any new info?
Thanks
Same issue still on U8N. This is very disappointing as I was hoping to only use my smart TV from now on. Plex never worked well for me on Google TV so I had to use an Xbox. The Xbox app seems to be the best out of the 3 I have used so far. The quality of the Plex apps are not extremely high and they don’t seem to be very concerned about this issue as the thread has been monitored by Plex employees since August 2024. Being a Plex Pass user for many years also don’t carry much weight.
Any news on this because it remains broken.

I own a VP Leica cine play 1 based on Vidaa OS.
With V7.6 and Plex client 5.91.2, I faced the same buffering issue when playing my local content as described above.
After Vidaa OS update to V9.01, I had to reinstall Plex that was uninstalled after OS update.
Plex is now working fine without buffering.
Plex client version is : 5.93.2
I hope it will help other facing the same buffering issue.
