Hi everyone. Like the title says, holding down the arrow key won’t continuously seek anymore. It just jumps forward once and stops. It’s been at least a week since I noticed it.
Can’t use the seek bar in the HTPC app so if I want to get half way into a movie (that doesn’t have chapters), I need to press the arrow key 100+ times.
Using Windows all around. I’ve tried reinstalling the player. Not sure if it’s a bug with the app, or maybe with windows… Anyone else experienced this? and have a solution? Thanks
Server Version#: 1.28.0.5999

I use the ‘Unified Remote’ app for my phone, remotes are preloaded, so no programming there. I tried a wired keyboard too. Same behavior with both, single skip forward then it stops. Everything was fine until recently.
The latest Plex HTPC version should have fixed this. I remapped my 650 remote using Flirc but should not be necessary. You can change mappings in the mapping file in Plex.
This was due to adding support for keyboard input to lua scripts swallowing all key repeats. Since it was only enabled during playback, it was not visible anywhere else. This should be fixed in 1.24.0
Maybe your version isn’t updating? Check the version. This was broken when we added support for keyboard commands in lua scripts so any version before that would work with key repeats during playback.
