On the home screen, Plex likes to occasionally add a list of movies based around the most recent holiday. Mine has been stuck on Easter since, well, Easter. It is well past the 4th of July, and I saw no list based on mother’s day, memorial day, father’s day, juneteenth, july 4th, or anything. Not saying those holidays have plex lists, but the easter list should have at least disappeared since then.
Is this behaviour exclusive to the Windows Desktop player?
Or does it also happen on other Plex client types? (e.g. Web app, Android etc.)
I checked the Apple TV and iPhone. It appears there as well.
Have you created some Plex-specific blocking rules in your firewall or anti-virus software?
If you did not, I recommend a thorough database rebuild.
Stop Plex server using its task tray icon.

The first server start after the repair can take longer. Don’t lose patience!
If the repair fails, you might have to go back to a database backup.

We can mark this resolved. I was using an older version of Plex Meta Manager, that broke when they went through their name change. Once I cleaned out the PMM stuff and updated to the newer version, it worked great.
