Not sure if its related or not but I am having missing posters as well. Tried removing cache dir from server and clear data/cache on client and re-install.

Posters are still missing after. Not sure if I made it clear but its the client that has the missing posters/images not the server
Initial review appears hubs are back on track and possibly more snappier than ever.

I was still seeing the “offline” message while on the new beta. Tried to reset all customizations and no dice. Had to do a re-install to get it working again. Still have missing posters on all libraries on the client side.
Update: The offline error came back. Created a new topic for missing posters in case it wasn’t related to this.
Update2: Something I noticed what when the “offline” issue comes back. I can switch to another user then switch back and it works again.
7.25+ does not still refresh the data from the server in comparison to the previous versions of the of the plex app, or in comparison to other plex apps.
if you use plex on other devices in the home, plex web, other android tvs, phones etc, watch and view content on those, and come back to your android tv, it has not updated the Home Hubs to reflect what you just watched on continue watching / on deck etc and you are presented with old data in these hubs for content you already watched
the first 2 are not in line with the previous versions of mobile/tv
*NOT updating the home hubs when you open the plex app (unless its forced closed)
*NOT updating the home hubs when you go into a library and then back to HOME
*NOT updating the home hubs after been idle for x period of time *OR
*NOT updating via webhooks when there is a change on the server
Just as an FYI, my Home Hubs are updating correctly on Android/Shield.
What version is your Plex app on the Shield? Are you changing the viewed status on any item in your Home:CW hub?
Plex version is latest Beta.
From the home Hub I have some TV Shows in the On Deck area. I watch two episodes of the show, when I exit out to the home screen the episode number showing for next on ON Deck is correct.
As well if I watch part of a movie on my Android Pad while remote, then return home and open the Shield, the part watche dmovie is showing on the Home screen.
Specific version number please. We are tracking a known regression in v7.25.0 that @dan-the-man mentioned. It existed in alpha testing and exist in beta now.
My hubs seems to be behaving so far.
There is one issue unrelated to hubs, after a episode ends and plex is exited, the android home screen continues to show the finished video as still running in the background.

Hello unfortunately plex is still intermittently refusing to update home hubs.
This is most noticeable after backing out of plex at night or some other point, then having new content added while plex and or shield suspended, then resuming plex only to have home hubs stuck on old content.
In particular on deck, recently added movies/tv hubs are the most apparent.

Rebooting shield or killing plex fixes the hubs for a random period of time until it repeats.
Same for me! Any news? I’ve had a Nvidia shield for a few months now and Plex hasn’t worked properly for most of the time and seems to get worse not better!
I’m on version 7.25.3.14365 not beta as far as I know?
It’s weird that there are no issues on the Fire Stick version which is also android right? as that works as expected! I’m getting the same as others here, the home screen doesn’t update its played, deleted or new items status! If I delete something from any screen it doesn’t disappear! Also when selecting delete the pop up doesn’t have anything selected, I have to push right arrow twice to select yes! A minor thing but still not right!

Any news? This the worst Plex app ever! Truly useless!
mine has been working ok lately
still does not update as fast as other clients tho
I have to force stop the app everyday to get it to update! Just not good enough! Getting fed up with Plex’s lack of response, might give Emby a try! Can’t be as bad as this and maybe they respect their customers enough to answer!
