Iv got allot of personal picture and videos that are all in folders and and creates a nice library to navigate it was working perfectly till the latest update now the videos won’t play other than sound. If you cast from a mobile device to chrome they play fine. The media is in a photo library as this seems to be the only way I could keep videos and photos togther.
on what platform and with what version of Plex Media Server are you experiencing this?
you seem to have picked just about every available category which makes it hard to distinguish 
Hi, sorry I’m latest windows version 1.25.3.5409 , and iv tried play back from android and android tv, it seems searching here this maybe an issue with the apps as a few people appear to have had this issue on ios end of last year. That videos in photos category no longer play and if you try to use “other videos” type your photos don’t get indexed
Iv rolled back to the android app build 8-27-2-29938 and it appear to now work again, so it’s an app related issue. Is there any way to go about reporting this issue?

Same problem for me too. On my Samsung phone with Android 12 personal movies from photos library don’t work anymore, picture is freeze, only sound is heard. I have the latest Plex version from Play Store.
I have updated to the last version (both app and server) and it is still not working.
@tom80H do you know when this will be fixed? I have a lot a of movies in my personal pictures collection and I cannot see them anymore on my phone or my tablet

I found the quickest way to get this to work is unitall plex from your phone or tablet and install : build 8-27-2-29938 you can find the apk online and install it that way this then gets it working again
