Plex won’t play any type video file from Android phone. I don’t know what’s going on. I know something is wrong with the app as prior to me updating videos would play, they would would freeze alot but at least they would play. Now I get a error saying for me to restart both server and app, which I do.
Only mp3 files play. I’m on same network as server. Is there a way to revert android phone Plex version to a very old one?
Troubleshooting tips I did
- I lowered quality in android setting to only play video at 720p medium.
- Rebooted server and app
- Tried playing videos on .my friends older phone running a older version of Plex and they play fine
