HOME should take you home

It be nice if PlexWeb would go back home when you click on the little house on the top left… That is, Plex will not go HOME if you are already “there”.
I commonly use the right arrow to scroll though recently added…
tv
movies
It sucks cause clicking HOME won’t take me home(to the start of recently added) so that leaves me with clicking the left arrow X amount of times to get to the start or click something other than HOME then clicking HOME.

Interesting idea.

The behavior of “home” is something that I have debated with developers of the various apps that I use.

I think that it all depends where you are in an app but, in general, the first press of “home” should reset the current level to whatever it would look like on initial entry while the second press, with nothing intervening, should take you back to the main screen as if you have just left it and a third press, with nothing intervening, should reset the app to the main screen with nothing selected or highlighted.

The above means that the “home” behavior varies with where you are and what just happened. That may be impractical.

Alternatively “home” no matter where you are or what has been pressed should always return to the home screen with everything reset as if the app was just entered. (Exceptions for “home” should not reset things like user selection etc.)

The latter is, I think, somewhat preferred as it is much easier to program but sometimes it can be VERY inconvenient to not have a customized behavior for the “home” button on some screens.

Damn… You got me clicking multiple times thinking that this will work, lol!! Awesome idea though.
