How can I clean up and remove log files

I want to remove all the log files before starting some troubleshooting for an issue I am encountering.

Don’t see anything about this in the Server logs related support articles.

If you simply shut down the server, it will archive the old logs and start a new set of logs upon reboot. Wait approximately 3-5Minutes to let Plex do all of its startup operations, and then start your troubleshooting.

step 1 - locate your logs folder https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/
step 2 - delete all .log files in the log folder

Restartng did not clean up the log files.

what he means is that the main log files will start from scratch, the others will be renamed 1, 2, 3 etc

Each type of log is numbered. The one without a number being the newest. They roll over either after they reach a certain size or the server is restarted. The one with no number is the newest one. The highest number being the oldest

Or as mentioned above just delete the from the logs folder when server is not running if you really don’t want the old ones.
