How can I disable update checks in PMS?

I’m getting really tired of all of my Plex players giving me notifications of server updates. I don’t want to hear about it in any of them, ever, and there’s no option to disable those notifications.

So for that reason I’d like to disable the feature in Plex Media Server where it automatically checks to see if there are updates available. Instead I’ll occasionally update it manually from at a time of my choosing.

Is there a way to do that?

There doesn’t seem to be any setting or option in PMS to disable updates, only to either have it bug me when there’s an update available (bad) or automatically install the update (worse).

Is there a domain I can block, or a URL I can blacklist? Or perhaps there’s a modification I can make to PMS itself?

Set the server update channel to Public. That is updated much less often than the beta channel.

It’s already set to Public.
