How can i stop users using my admin user?

Ok here’s the thing I have a pin setup on my main admin user on plex media server and separate users for family this started happening after server updates I go to my plex server address and I see someone streaming off my admin user? why?? doe it auto log my user in? I’ve had this happen multiple times why they are messing up what I watch! and where I am! Pleas Plex FIX THIS! otherwise what the hell is the use of having separate users?!

I know there is an option to “skip” login on devices. Perhaps that setting is enabled.
Capture
All the streaming devices have this option(named slightly different). If enabled then the last account used will be the account your device will login when you launch the app.

yeah I’m going to try that but I never use to have this issue even with auto login enabled because if i kept it enabled the first plex client login would go to the user selection screen then just auto log in that selected user now it seems it just auto logins under the main admin user regardless if you have a pin setup or not.

That option bypasses PINs

yeah it does now, never use to before as stated above it would just auto login the selected user.

I see your point but that option in itself would be somewhat pointless if it didn’t log you in automatically, with/without a PIN.

So plex basically fixed the most convenient bug in the server that they’ve had forever up until now lol

Is DLNA activated on your Plex server?
If so, DLNA doesn’t support any form of user authentication.
It is either available to everyone in the local network or not at all.
So if someone is using DLNA on the network, this activity is attributed to your admin account.

I Am sharing with everyone I have remote access on, I share my library with my brother and created a username for him,

Let me explain how this was before updates, I had auto login turned on, here is how auto login worked for me which apparently was a bug forever that Plex fixed, I login to my admin user with the pin on my devices I don’t have to bother with the pin anymore (I do now) I go to another device it popped up the user selection screens I select a user it stayed logged into that user on each device on/off base So if my brother selected his it would just auto log his user in at his house after selecting users but still auto logged me in on my end. One day after server updates I noticed my user was active I text my brother how he got into my user because I don’t want him messing up with what I am watching and he didn’t realize he was on my user it just auto logged him into my user instead of asking him for the pin first SO either that’s a bug or how it was before was the most convenient bug that plex had for years.

Sharing does not automatically mean that you have to invite all sharees into your Plex Home.
You should only invite persons with whom you are sharing a physical Plex client device (e.g. the TV in the living room of your home).
Only these persons need to be in your Plex home.
(Settings - Family & Friends - Home)
And only these persons are able to switch into your Plex account if they can guess your PIN.

All others only need to be ‘Plex Friends’.

Why not just talk to your brother?
