How can I customize the dashboard to shows under “my movies” the “unplayed” instead of of “recently added”
Thanks
If you have that hub in the Recommended section of your movie library, you can hover over the hub title and click on the appearing + symbol to add it to the home screen (I suppose that’s what you’re referring to as dashboard)?

I meant when you are on Plex “home” it shows “Recently Added Movies”, there is not “+” to change it. This screen capture is from the Web client and the Samsung Smart TV shows the same way
Correct… you can decide from the hubs in the Recommended section of individual libraries, which of them you want to add to the home screen. -> it’s explained in the support article linked above (Customizing Plex Web).
You can’t at this time yet make a custom hub.
There have been some changes and that support article needs to be updated to move library hubs to home screen. First you need to turn off automatic managing of home. On home screen click pencil on top right to edit and then click Disable.
After that when you have it set to manual you will see when hovering the + button on library hubs that can be added, and a X on the ones on home screen to remove.
but again cannot make a custom hub yet (like based on a filter). Though that is something we would like to do
You could at least use the existing ‘Top Unplayed Movies’ hub, instead of a generic ‘Unplayed’ filter.
