I have a pretty simple library system. Two TV libraries, one for “Family/Kids” oriented shows, one for all other. The last few updates (and this one is the worst for the home screen) make the Plex home page a frustrating, non-functional mess. Please excuse the poor quality photos from my phone, but they illustrate the problem.
From the photos, I have two rows of Recently Added TV, Both rows show content from the two libraries, but as you can see, they are not identical. I can’t even figure out which row is supposed to be for which library. One row has two instances of Shameless S11E05, repeated with a second instance in the second row. Teen Titans Go shows up in both rows, as does WandaVision and several others. The second rows order is completely random, definitely not in the order they were added.
I have tried manual configuring of the home page (which loses the combined “On Deck” and '“Continue Watching”, and a different set of problems with the “Recently Added” hubs), and Automatic (which gives me this mess) Automatic may or may not be the same when returning to the home page after watching something. You never know what you will see.
The home page displays properly on two Rokus, The Android phone app, Plex web (the local and hosted version), so why the problem with Android TV? The app surely makes the same (or similar calls) to the server as to what to display?
Very frustrated…
