How do I know for sure Premium Plex Music Library is working?

Hi guys. I have set up Premium Plex Music Library, following the instructions by making the correct selections. After a few days of adding all music in the background the library is ready to play etc. I have a few questions now:-

  • Is there any way to verify it is in fact a Premium music library?
  • The ‘mix’ option doesn’t appear on any songs
  • How do I know if the Gracenote fingerprinting is actually doing anything?
  • Moods only appears when ‘Albums’ is selected, not artists or songs. Is that correct?
    I am running Version Plex 1.3.1.3102 on a Synology NAS.

  1. Yes, in settings Gracenote genre level is an option. Strangely not at first, I have to click off of Advanced and back on for it to appear
  2. There is no Play Plex Mix option in any song in the library. It isn’t an obscure library song list so there should be some. (Similar artists appear if that is related)

Update:
Plex Mix has appeared/returned for a very small portion of the music - I will continue to monitor
I’m still not sure if Gracenote fingerprinting is running or working

The Plex Butler will successively fill in Gracenote data if missing
and if you allow this and your Plex server machine actually is running during the selected maintenance hours.
