You can download the latest version from plex.tv, and then manually install it.Stop Plex Media Server, then drag and drop the new version to Applications. Just a heads up, any version of OS X below 10.8 doesn’t run PMS 1.0 +, so make sure you’re on OSX 10.8 or newer.

That’s odd. My media server says it’s up to date when I try to update it. It’s running on an older version of MacOS though (10.8.5) so maybe that’s not supported?

There was a version that had an update problem.
