Hi. Apologies if this in the wrong topic area, but how do I get rid of this tag (it appears in most of the tracks on my server). However, I can’t fine any tag referencing this field using MP3Tag on my server, hosted on a QNAP NAS. Has PLEX inserted automatically and why the padlock? I don’t even have a 10cc album. Help please.
The padlock is engaged if you manually edit the field.
(And maybe when using 3rd party apps, but I can’t support these)
The album title is the very same as embedded in your files.
If your files don’t have an album title tag, then you’re in for a rough time in Plex.
Plex doesn’t do single tracks.
There is always the hierarchy
Album Artist> Album>Tracks
Plex tries to fill in if any of that is missing or ambiguous – which can result in unexpected behavior.
