How do I roll back a version of Plex Server on macOS?

Server Version#: 1.18.1.1973
Player Version#: 2.44.0.1018-8f77cbb9

On October 19 I posted I was having difficulties with my libraries not updating. I received ONE reply with a solution but it was not correct.

After a frustrating few days of waiting for SOMEONE to at least respond with an idea, I now need to get info on rolling back this version of PMS to the previous Beta Version I was using.

So, could I please be advised on this???

You can just install the earlier version over the current version (stop the server first).

I’d get off the betas; I am running 1.18.0.1944 and the libraries are updating fine.

On macOS you find previous install versions in the Updates folder under ~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/

Great thanks for the reply.

I haven’t had too many issues with Beta’s in the past, but after this I had already decided to give the beta’s a big miss.

Thanks for the info, but what’s the best way to re-install the earlier version?

find the version where @darcilicious pointed to and copy it into /Applications (overwriting the current version).
