Cant get this working… and I see no specific examples on how to do this.
I’ve tried putting the trailer in the series folder, I’ve tried a folder named /Trailers, I’ve tried different file names, what’s the deal?
Can someone please give an example of what the file needs to be named, and the exact folder this should go in? Thanks!
Locally stored trailers are currently not supported for tv shows.
This is only possible for movies, atm.

there’s a feature request to allow local media assets (such as trailers but also deleted scenes, shorts, featurettes…) for tv shows, seasons and episodes. if you are a Plex Pass member you can vote for it.
How many years has that Feature Request been drawing Social Security?

on the other hand… how long did it take to get inline collections?
Look at the bright side… the foundation is there and actively used for online extras. all it needs is focus… so let’s keep lobbying for it

I’ve got a Plex-Useless Fire TV Device - and have had it for about 5 years now.
It’s just one Disaster App after another and Plex seems unable, or unwilling to do anything about it.
That kind of behavior doesn’t exactly spur involvement with Plex at the bank account level.
The words: “Bite Me” come to mind.
