I think the new design looks decent but I’ve noticed a good amount of my movies and shows are displaying logos in the wrong language or incorrect logos, is there a way to choose which logo to use so they can be correct? Kind of takes the wind out of the sails for the new look when many things are wrong lol.

At present, there is no way to do so, and I don’t think they’ve announced any intention to make it selectable.
We do plan to add that to the server admin functions like changing posters but I do not have an ETA.

Seriously - the show/movie logos are now a huge aesthetic centerpieces of the titles. And some of them don’t even have opacity specified so they’re gross white rectangles. They look abysmal. They seriously couldn’t just give us a “turn off” toggle until they let us upload our own? What is going on? This is VERY basic stuff.

100%. So many of mine are still ugly or completely wrong lol. I know it’s silly and superficial but I spent a lot of time configuring my posters and backgrounds, so to see them now ruined kinda makes me want to use plex less.

I’m expecting a native and official way to do it via 1. local assets and 2. a GUI to select among already available options (as well as to be able to disable the logo at a per item level), just as it is currently done with posters and backdrops.

Yup. Not going to be considering the new Plex apps until this is implemented on the server.
I tried the Dispatch launcher for Android TV before and it was neat, but one of the biggest issues I had with it was the app uses clear logos it collects on its own as part of the interface. Those logos were out of my control, so even if I had a local file for the logo I was getting ones on screen that were the wrong language, not a transparent background, or just low visibility because of color scheme.

The Clearlogo Updater script works really well.
But I too would rather have the logos as local assets. Mostly for portability reasons and ease of use.

Is there any word on this feature coming? It’s been a few months now and I’m still dealing with incorrect logos.

@BigWheel any updates on when logos will be able to be updated on the server side? Still some incorrect logos being used by plex (logo has French and English in title , another logo has 3d in the title). This really needs to be available if you are pushing it through. Or at least have an update that we can turn off the logos until we can actually pick them.

Do we know what the clearlogo size/resolution should be for best results?
For example posters are usually 1000x1500.
