Post Play disable feature

There must be a way to disable post play.

Can’t believe there aren’t more posts about this. I really, really, really dislike this feature. Totally understand the shotgun approach to solve all use cases but you forgot one: how to disable for the people that don’t want this. Fine, post-play screen must be there ok, but please allow the disabling of auto-play!

Give us an option to turn this off!

The Plex app at least has an option to disable this. I presume it will be coming to all client apps eventually.

@beckfield IF there is a way - What exactly would that option be (I’m using ROKU)?
And I want CONTINUOUS PLAY and CONTINUOUS RANDOM PLAY to work as it did before this “feature”.
Thanks

I should have addressed my comment to @weestro . In the Roku app, under Settings/General (I think), there is an option to disable Post Play Autoplay. The Post Play screen still appears, but it won’t automatically launch whatever is next up.

But that’s not a solution, it’s the worst of both worlds. Still getting the ugly and pointless post play screen, and breaking play queue functionlity.

If I’ve set up a play queue I want Plex to just play the next item on the list, without stopping to pointlessley show me a post play screen. If I’m just watching a single item I want to be returned to the plex interface to select what to watch next (or not), rather than be shown a screen that most of the time only tells me what I just watched while giving the option to watch the same thing again.

I agree, the post play is annoying. And for those of us who don’t want the plot of the next episode spoiled it is really a pain in the ■■■■! There should be a global setting on the plex client to hide the plot summaries for unwatched tv episodes!
