How do you install?

Hello,

As someone quite new to Plex Pass, I am wondering how you actually go about installing updates? I had an email saying that “Plex Media Server 1.4.4 is now available for Plex Pass members”, so I downloaded it but there is no application on my iMac to open it.

The only thing I have been able to do with the file is to manually install it on my (Synology DS215j) NAS; is this correct?

A plex pass release has the same update procedure as a normal release (you install the new version as you did the original one, your libraries will not be touched). I am not familiar enough about NAS environments to give specifics on the exact procedure, but try reading in the Synology part of this forum and I am sure you will find the answer therein.
