Hello,
I just got my Pi Model B a few days ago and I am amazed how great it works. Running 0.136 which works like a charm.
The only thing I can not figure out at the moment is how to Power on the Pi other than unplug / plug-in the Power cord.
From the RasPlex I can turn it off, but obviously not back on.
How do you guys to that or just leave it on all the time?
Is there a standby mode like the Apple TV has, that it is always available via AirPlay?
I am using the iOS remote and my TV remote via CEC....
I power it from an USB port of my TV. Switching TV on & off will switch the Pi accordingly.

 I have to reinstall if i cut the power without shutting it down.
Shut it down from the GUI and switch it on from the TV then.

Thats a pretty smart move, works fine on my main TV. Only problem, my secondary TV for which the Pi is intended, has no USB Port....
@ camillahutch: What do you mean by switching it on from the TV? When the Pi is shut down, it won´t receive any commands from my TV remote... or du you use an USB IR Receiver to control it?

Leave it plugged all time too…
@wolfster: It means that if you us an USB from your TV to power it, when you switch on your TV the Pi will be powered also and will boot Rasplex.
Alright then, leaving it on is probably the best solution for my TV without USB....
Thank you all!!
