I found it… go back, back again and again until you get to the point that you can launch emby. Launch emby and use that from now on. I loved Plex, and paid for a lifetime pass but I think I am done with it for good now. I’d like my money back as it’s just not functional. But ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

I’m using MediaPortal just for TV, still so much better than Plex… :-/

PS: it’s not just the android TV app it’s also the android app itself. I just looked at Plex on my iPad and there was clearly a record button available

Got a new Shield for Christmas. It’s faster but the UI just sucks as compared to Roku. Ughh. Why can it be standardized? Seriously though, is there anywhere we can actually get in touch with the devs besides complaining here?
