You can also create a Christmas Library using symlinks.
I do this for different holidays.

I would also like to have this feature.
For music, movies, and even photos.
Sharing between my user and my wife’s is a must.
I would like to be able to share playlists with family member users. Primarily so I can make playlists for the kids AND me to use. There are workarounds (e.g. MovieFan’s database tool), but that is a lot of overhead to continually work through.
I paid for lifetime plex pass, use the money I gave you to develop features we actually want. +1 for this suggestion
Yeah it’s sort of crazy that we all pay monthly and the features with giant threads like this are never developed. +1 for playlist sharing (obviously).

+1 for the shared Playlists just to establish an order to my recommendations for others, but I was able to achieve what I was looking for through “Tags” and creating Collections. My friends can see the Collections just not my playlists which seems like it would not be a hard thing to add, but given this suggestion is going on 4 years old I doubt we will ever see it.
- 1 for the shared Playlist. My Son would watch the home available cartoons at grandpa, but without the shared playlist there is no continuous playing on th TV. Now I’ll ask Grandpa to recreate what we have at home, won’t be an easy run.

This has 12 pages of people wanting this feature - me included. Let’s make it happen Plex - it would add a lot to the experience.
Yeah honestly I just bought a lifetime pass and now I’m regretting it because this an absolutely essential feature. I was previously sharing my plex login with my girlfriend and we’d often create playlists for each other. Now that I upgraded and added her as a separate user we actually just LOST that functionality!! It’s nuts, I don’t even really want or need virtually all of the Plex Pass paid features and I’d already paid the few bucks for the android app so I think I just paid a lot of money for nothing and we are going back to the old way.
I’m already in the list, but are you aware guys that with the Plex Toolbox you can copy playlists between the users ?

This works if you run your own server but won’t be of help if you use Plex Cloud or the Nvidia version of the server since you can’t install plugins.
Guys… look at all the resources wasted on this VR GARBAGE… when I watched the video introducing this joke of a feature I could not believe my eyes. And here we sit with no playlist sharing…
