Used to work offline/locally without any issues, but now we can’t get clients to connect to a QNAP that is on it’s own network.

Bumping again. We are using a qnap offline in a tent in the middle of Africa, like we have done before in previous years, but now clients can’t connect to the server (unless there is an internet connection)? How do we fix this.
You cannot use any form of access control
and no separate storing of ‘watched’ status for different users.
Before doing the configuration changes described in the linked post, make sure to start playback on a few files (these files should represent all the different video and audio codecs you would encounter on your server).
