I changed the folder locations of my libraries on my Win 10 server. On the server, I removed the old libraries and added the new ones. I appears that my libraries have the correct metadata on my server and I can play the shows from the new libraries on my server.
My nVidia Shield still shows the old libraries - I unpinned them and scrolled down to more to add the new libraries but they aren’t listed - the old ones still are.
Do I have to do anything to clear out the old libraries on my shield? Anything I can do to help the process along?
I’m not complaining - just curious since I haven’t done this before.
It could just be coincidental timing but after a couple of hours, I pulled the plug on my shield and when I turned it back on all the libraries were up to date with the new files.
Restarting the Shield probably did do it. It would be enough to just completely close the app and re-launch. Simply exiting the app may not be enough. Double-tap the Home button on your remote and close the app from there. When you re-launch, new libraries will be there.
