How make Streaming4K?

Hello everyone!

I am very curious to know what hardware and internet connection is necessary to achieve 4K streaming of the movies (with an approximate size of 70 GB)?

I currently use qBittorrent + PLEX + Chromecast 2 to watch Streaming. My current methodology is:

**qBittorrent **in “Sequential Download” which allows me to watch the movies and series while they are downloading.
PLEX which is a multimedia service where I can watch the movies and series
Chromecast 2 it is the receiver because my TV is not SmartTV and it does not have PLEX built-in

Internet connectivity I have:

Router D-link DSL2730E
Connection Broadband 6 Mpbs (700 KB / s)

I wonder if it is necessary to have a Chromecast Ultra (Supports 4K) and/or a SmartTV 4K, what codec would you need to support? X265?

Would you need a fiber optic connection of 25 Mbps (2.5 MB / s)? A more powerful router? How many Mbps does an Ethernet cable transmit?

Thank you in advance for the time and attention that you give to this great doubt.

I run a CC Ultra with ethernet cable connected. Since 6.14 i run 69mbps 4k hevc media without a problem from my NAS via plexserver on Ubuntu.

25Mbps, is about ½-1/3 of what the movie stream requires in 4k.

Ethernet cables CAT 5e and 6 is 1gbps+, which i’m running between routern and chromecast ultra.

Wich NAS model are you using? and you connect directly NAS and Chromecast using Ethernet cable, right?
