Did a search and couldn’t find the answer but, how many users can use plex at the same time for watching live TV?
At any given time I could have 4 xboxs using plex at once and I want to make sure the software is capable of handling that for live tv before I upgrade.
It’s not the software you have to worry about, it’s the hardware you run Plex Media Server upon that is the limiting factor, along with how each stream will be sent (transcoded or direct). Check out the FAQ and Support Articles pages for more information on what Plex requires in the way of hardware.
Also for LiveTV you will be limited by the number of tuners you have.
